  • Custom2 Steve Cady was a driving force behind the growth of the Miami University hockey program in 1976 and has remained synonymous with the program ever since. Over his 48-year tenure at Miami, Cady served in numerous roles, including senior associate athletic director beginning in 1998, the same year he was named assistant vice president for finance and business services. He was head coach of the Miami ice hockey team for nine seasons, including its first seven years as a varsity program (1978–85). Cady also served as the men’s soccer team head coach from 1978 to 1980.
