Woody Hayes

  • Custom2 Hayes compiled a 238-72-10 record as a collegiate football coach. After three seasons at Denison University, he returned to Miami and led the team to 14 wins in 19 games over two seasons. He then spent 28 years as head coach at Ohio State University. Hayes won three consensus national championships (1954, 1957, 1968) and shared two others (1961, 1970). He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1983.
