Bill Arnsparger

  • Custom2 After serving one year as an assistant under Woody Hayes at Miami, Arnsparger followed Hayes to Ohio State in 1951. From 1954 to 1961, he was an assistant under Blanton Collier at the University of Kentucky and worked alongside Don Shula. After two years as an assistant at Tulane University, he joined Shula with the Baltimore Colts from 1964 to 1968. After 1976, Arnsparger returned to Miami, where he helped develop the “Killer B’s” defense.
