SCOUTING REPORT: Earned second varsity letter in 2007 ... accomplished something last year that his record-setting brother, Jared, never did: lead the team in scoring ... took over fulltime placekicking duties in the Kent State game and performed solidly ... earned MAC East Division Special Teams Player of the Week honors for his five-field goal performance vs. Ohio. 2007: Played in all 13 games ... scored a team-best 57 points on 13-of-20 field goal kicking and 18-of-18 PATs ... his career[apos]s top game was at Ohio in the regular-season finale when he made all five of his field goal attempts, tying Miami[apos]s single-game record (five by Gary Gussman at Central Michigan, 1987) ... the two longest of his 13 field goals were a 42-yarder at Vanderbilt and a 41-yard placement at Ohio ... kicked two field goals at Kent State and two at Vanderbilt ... was a perfect five-for-five on attempts of less than 30 yards ... also handled 50 of the team[apos]s 55 kickoffs. 2006: Converted two of six field goal attempts, including a 22-yarder vs. Northwestern and a 39-yarder vs. Purdue ... was a perfect five of five in PATs. 2005: Made lone appearance in Sept. 28 defeat of Cincinnati, converting a PAT.
