SCOUTING REPORT: He sat out the 2009 season with an injury ... he earned varsity letters in 2007 and `08 ... if he[apos]s healthy, he will push Anthony Kokal for the starting job at free safety ... tied for first in the standing long jump (10-feet-two-inches) and ranks second on the team in the vertical jump (36.5') ... coaches rate him as the RedHawks[apos] fastest safety .
2009: Did not play due to injury.
2008: Participated in all 12 RedHawk games ... came on strong during the last three contests--starting each game--collecting 12 of his 16 tackles ... notched five tackles against both Ball State and Toledo.
2007: Played in 12 games a year ago, only missing the Buffalo contest ... collected 17 tackles ... statistically, his best games came against Colorado, Bowling Green and Central Michigan, all four-tackle efforts.
2006: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner and two-time captain ... an all-city, all-district, All-Toledo Blade and honorable mention all-state selection ... played in Ohio[apos]s North-South All-Star game ... also participated in basketball and track ... coached by Rick Rios.
