SCOUTING REPORT: Phil Steele[apos]s 2010 College Football Preview Magazine named him pre-season All-MAC honorable mention ... he[apos]s listed as the starter at right guard at the beginning of fall drills ... tied for fourth-best in squat max (555 pounds) ... won his second varsity letter in 2009.
2009: He was a starter in all 12 games for the RedHawks ... Miami[apos]s offensive unit started slowly in its first three games, but averaged 374 yards per contest during the last nine.
2008: Saw action in 10 of Miami[apos]s 12 games ... was the starting left guard in the RedHawks[apos] victories vs. Charleston Southern and at Bowling Green, and also in the contests against Cincinnati and Kent State ... a 75 percent blocker in 281 plays ... totaled 22 knockdowns and three pins.
2007: Appeared in five of the last seven games ... became a starter on the field goal and PAT teams ... was a member of Miami[apos]s offensive line unit that won MAC Offensive Player of the Week honors following its performance vs. Buffalo.
