SCOUTING REPORT: Earned first varsity letter in 2008 ... walk-on receiver who might increase his playing time in 2009 ... a great leaper, his 10-foot-2-inch standing long jump is tied for best on the team.
2008: Saw action in nine games, including the last four of 2008 ... his first collegiate catch was a 17-yarder vs. Charleston Southern ... caught four passes for 37 yards in his final three games a year ago, including two at Toledo.
2007: Did not see action in any games ... earned Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year honors.
2006: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time letterwinner as wide receiver and defensive back at Central Catholic ... he earned first-team all-county honors as a senior, grabbing 42 receptions, including seven TDs ... also played basketball, averaging 15 points per game ... hurdler and high jumper for track and field squad ... academically, ranked fifth in his class ... prep coach was Lowell Klinefelter.
PERSONAL: Born December 26, 1987 ... son of Mark and Regina Anderson ... father was a member of Michigan State University[apos]s football team ... enjoys doing anything outdoors and working with wood ... majoring in zoology ... an excellent student in the classroom, he plans to go to law school.
