SCOUTING REPORT: Earned second varsity letter in 2008 ... was switched to offensive line by new coaching staff and will enter fall as Bob Gulley[apos]s top backup at left guard ... one of the team[apos]s strongest players, owns a power-clean lift of 330 pounds.

2008: Appeared in 11 of the team[apos]s 12 games, totaling 11 tackles ... among his stops were two tackles for loss, including a quarterback sack vs. Charleston Southern ... he also forced a fumble against CSU.

2007: Played in all 13 games, starting contests vs. Temple and Vanderbilt ... totaled 21 tackles, including QB sack and another TFL ... also recovered a fumble and broke up a pass.

2006: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner as a tight end at Moeller, leading the team to a two-year record of 16-8, including a 10-win season his junior year ... first-team all-city as a senior ... also lettered in basketball ... coached by Bob Crable.
