SCOUTING REPORT: Concentrated on academics during spring drills, but saw action during the weekends ... he plays especially well against teams that like to throw the football ... if he matures and improves, coaches will count more on him against the run.
2009: Earned his third varsity letter, competing for the first time at linebacker ... started seven games for the RedHawks, compiling 34 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, an interception (30-yard return) and four PBUs ... he best game came at Northwestern where he totaled 12 tackles and broke up three passes ... did not appear in the final two games of the season due to an injury.
2008: Appeared in 11 of Miami[apos]s 12 games, winning his second varsity letter ... collected two solo tackles.
2007: Saw action in 10 of Miami[apos]s 13 games ... recorded seven tackles, including one tackle for loss vs. Bowling Green for minus 18 yards ... has broke up one opponent pass.
