HIGH SCHOOL: A first-team all-state selection at defensive end ... also earned first-team all-league and All-Northeastern Ohio honors ... played in Ohio[apos]s North-South All-Star Game ... recorded 87 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, eight sacks, five fumble recoveries, seven forced fumbles, 10 pass break-ups and three interceptions his senior year ... lettered four times as throws specialist in track and field ... coach at Boardman High was D.J. Ogilvie.

PERSONAL: Born June 27, 1990 ... son of John and Jodi Klepec ... he and his family also have lived in Europe and in Guam ... plans to major in mechanical engineering.
