SCOUTING REPORT: Earned his second varsity letter last season as a true sophomore ... enters the fall in a dead heat with DeAndre Gilmore as Miami[apos]s top Will linebacker ... also will see plenty of time on the special teams units ... was a prep teammate of current RedHawk Morris Council.

2008: Appeared in 10 of team[apos]s 12 contests ... notched one tackle.

2007: Appeared in seven games, including six of the last eight contests ... recorded one tackle.

HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 11 tackles per game and posted three sacks and an interception as a senior for the Southwestern Dekalb Panthers ... receivered honorable mention all-state honors from the Atlanta Journal Constitution in 2006 ... prep coach was Buck Godfrey.
