2015-2016: In the 50-yard free style, claimed third vs. Ball State, clocking a time of 1:36.68 ... garnered seventh twice in the 500-yard free: vs. Buffalo (4:48.29) and Eastern Michigan (4:52.67) ... took sixth in the same event vs. Cincinnati (4:35.59) ... finished second in the 100-yard back stroke vs. Xavier (52.58) and vs. Purdue (52.29) ... collected 15th in the same event at MACs (50.77) ... claimed first in the 200-yard backstroke vs. Ball State (1:56.22) and second vs. Ohio State (1:55.58) ... turned in a season-best time of 1:49.20 in the same event at MACs, earning 11th ... swam a leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay that finished second vs. Purdue (3:13.98), vs. OSU (3:18.45) and vs. Ball State (3:13..45).
2014-2015: Competed in two events at MAC Championships ... finished seventh in the 100-yard backstroke (50.07) ... turned in an eighth-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke (1:50.72) ... finished first in the 100-yard backstroke against Purdue (51.91) and fifth at the Miami Invitational (50.90) ... turned in a third-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke against Cincinnati (1:55.79) ... swam a leg of the first-place finishing 200-yard medley relay against Cincinnati (1:34.35) ... turned in two first-place finishes in the 400-yard medley relay against Xavier and Cleveland State.
2013-2014: Neri began his season with a fourth-place finish in the 200 medley relay against Xavier. He also finished second in the 200 backstroke and the 400 freestyle relay against the Musketeers. Against Cleveland State, Neri took first in the 200 medley relay and third in both the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke. He took fifth in both the 1000 freestyle and 200 backstroke against Purdue. At the Miami Invitational, he finished eighth in the 100 backstroke, 17th in the 400 IM, 9th in the 200 backstroke and 20th in the 500 freestyle. Neri took third in the 200 medley relay, second in the 200 backstroke and fifth in the 200 freestyle relay against Cincinnati and earned third and fourth place finishes in the 100 and 500 freestyle, respectively, against Evansville. Against Buffalo, Neri finished second in the 200 medley relay, third in the 100 backstroke, seventh in the 200 backstroke and fifth in the 200 freestyle relay. He contributed to a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay against Eastern Michigan and earned seventh-place finishes in the 100 and 200 backstroke events against the Eagles. He also took fourth in the 400 freestyle relay. Neri was a first-place finisher in the 400 medley relay against Ball State, took first in the 200 backstroke and fifth in the 200 freestyle relay. At the MAC Championships, Neri finished 14th in the 200 backstroke.
2012-2013: Neri's RedHawk career began with a victory in the 500 freestyle and a third-place finish in the 1000 free against Xavier. He then finished second in the 200 medley relay at Evansville, and took second in the 200 backstroke at Purdue. In the home meet against Cleveland State, Neri finished second in the 100 and 200 back contests, and won the 400 medley relay. During the Miami Invitational, the freshman finished eighth in the 800 free relay and 400 medley relay, then placed 12th in the 200 back and 14th in the 100 back events. Neri took third in the 400 medley relay against Cincinnati, then finished fourth in the 500 free and fifth in the 100 back against Buffalo. He finished third in the 500 free and 100 back events at Eastern Michigan, and finished fifth in the 200 free against Ball State. Neri competed in the 2013 MAC Championships, placing 16th in the 500 free final and 13th in the 200 back final.
High School: finished eighth in the 100 backstroke at the 2012 State Championships with a time of 51.75...holds records in the 200 freestyle (1:42), the 500 freestyle (4:34), and the 200 backstroke (1:51)...also lettered all four years in water polo and led his team to a state championship his sophomore year.
