2010-11: First-Team All-MAC (outdoors) ... indoors, competed solely in the triple jump ... at the MAC Indoor Championships, fouled on all her attempts, but won the triple jump at three other meets during the season ... took first at the Bowling Green Challenge (11.28m/37-0.25), the Ball State Open (11.59m/38-0.25) and the Hoosier Hills Invitational with a season-best leap of 11.79m/38-8.25. Outdoors, won the triple jump at the MAC Outdoor Championships with a wind-aided personal-best leap of 12.18m/39-11.5 ... posted a personal-best non-wind-aided triple jump of 12.09m/39-8 to place second at the Billy Hayes Invitational ... also took second in the triple jump at the Gina Relays (12.08m/39-7.75) and the Nikoloff Invitational (11.43m/37-6) ... contested the long jump once, jumping a wind-aided personal-best 5.20m/17-0.75 at the Miami Invitational to take 12th.
2009-10: Indoors, recorded a Miami season-best triple jump of 38-10.25 to finish eighth in the MAC Championships (2/27/10) ... finished first in the triple jump with a distance of 37-10 at the All-Ohio Championships (2/13/10) ... posted a career-best heave of 52-10.75 in the weight throw at the Ball State Quadrangular (2/19/10) to place fourth while the throw ranks her seventh in school history. Outdoors, competed in the MAC Championships, recording a season-best triple jump of 38-9.5 (5/15/10) to finish eighth ... also finished 11th in the hammer throw at MACs (165-3) ... had a season-best long jump of 16-3.75 at the Miami Invitational (4/10/10) ... also took third in the triple jump at the Miami Invite and won the event at the Vanderbilt Black and Gold (3/27/10) ... threw a career-best 170-10 in the hammer throw at the Billy Hayes Invitational (5/7/10) to claim ninth while ranking herself fourth in school history in the event.
2008-09: Second-Team All-MAC ... in indoor competition, recorded season-long jump of 5.14m in the long jump at the Ball State Quad (02/20/09)... finished a season-best 5th in that event at the Kent State Duals (01/30/09)... also recorded season-long triple jump of 11.85m at the Kent State Duals, earning her first place in the event... finished in first at three different meets in the triple jump: Findlay Oiler Opener (12/06/08), Kent State Duals, and Ball St. Quad... posted a season-best 14.31m in the weight throw at the Rod McCravy Invitational (02/07/09)... outdoors, was the runner-up in the triple jump at the MAC Championships with a career-best leap of 40-2, which made her the fourth-best performer in the event in Miami history... also ranked third on the all-time hammer throw performers list with a heave of 167-7 at the Miami Invitational.
2007-08: In indoor competition, posted first-year bests of 16-1 3/4 in the long jump, 37-4 in the triple jump, and 41-7 in the weight throw... delivered a top-5 finish in five indoor meets, including a first-place finish in the triple jump at the Tom Wright Classic... in the outdoor season, posted triple jump career best of 37-8¾ at the MAC Championships... her career-best of 151-9 in the hammer throw at the Miami Team Challenge ranked ninth all-time in school history... gave a top-five performance in four outdoor meets.
High School: Member of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams at Tower Hill High School... ranked first in the state in the triple jump and long jump... set personal bests of 17[apos] 4' in the long jump and 37[apos] 11' in the triple jump... qualified for the outdoor Nationals in 2007... named all county in the long jump and triple jump
Personal: Daughter of Cherise and Romain Alexander... was a figure skater for 15 years, competing in the Junior Nationals... mother, Cherise, was a member of the Kansas University track and field team... father, Romain, played football and competed in track and field at KU before playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers... started a figure skating program for inner-city youth... majoring in French and International Studies.
