2006-07: All-MAC Academic Team ... registered career-best javelin toss (194-3) at the season-opening Wake Forest Open ... his throw eclipsed his previous personal-best of 192-2 and ranks sixth all-time at Miami ... one of a league-high seven Miamians named to the all-MAC academic team.
2005-06: All-MAC Second Team ... earned second career conference medal with a runner-up finish in the javelin (192-2) at the MAC Championships ... his toss at the conference meet was a career-best distance and ranks as the seventh-furthest throw in program history ... was first Miami thrower since 2003 to surpass 190 feet with his toss at the conference meet ... notched one individual win in the javelin at the Miami Invitational with a distance of 185-6.
2004-05: Threw the javelin at all seven outdoor meets, collecting four event wins ... as a walk-on, opened his Miami career with a 182-6, third-place toss at UC Irvine, following it up with a 162-9 event win at Cincinnati[apos]s Oliver Nikoloff Invitational ... after finishing second at the Miami Invitational, throwing 188-3, achieved his season-best toss of 189-8 while winning the All-Ohio Championships event ... went on to win the event at the Southern Ohio Cup (179-7) and Indiana[apos]s Billy Hayes Invitational (187-8) ... won a bronze medal at the MAC Championships, throwing (186-3).
High School: Was a three-sport athlete at Fredonia High School ... lettered in basketball (4), golf (4) and soccer (3).
