2005-06: Notched scoring finish at the MAC Championships for the second straight season, placing fifth in the pole vault (15-7) ... matched his career-best clearance of 15-7 at both the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational and the MAC meet ... was the second season in a row Skaggs finished among the top five vaulters at the conference meet.
2004-05: Pole vaulted in seven meets outdoors and one indoors ... won a bronze medal at the MAC Championships with a 15-7 vault for his top height of the season ... also ran the 100m in two meets with a top time of 11.39 seconds at the All-Ohio Championships.
High School: Played four years each of football and track at Perkins High ... pulled double duty in both, serving as a wide receiver and strong safety in football and pole vaulter/sprinter in track and field ... personal best of 10.8 seconds in the 100, 22.3 in the 200, and 14-7 in the pole vault ... medaled in both the 4x100 relay and pole vault at the district and regional level during his prep career.
