2006-07: NSCA Strength and Conditioning All-American ... Did not compete in the outdoor season due to an injury ... during the indoor season, turned in a career-best heptathlon score (5,072) at the Kent State heptathlon.
2005-06: All-MAC Second Team ... earned first career all-conference honors after a runner-up finish in the decathlon at the MAC Championships ... tallied a career-best point total (6,344) at the conference meet ... posted personal bests in five of the 10 decathlon events, including the 110-meter hurdles (16.34), 400 meters (53.55), long jump (22-11), discus (116-11) and pole vault (12-5 1/2) ... won the shot put, discus and long jump events in the decathlon at the conference meet ... finished seventh in his first career decathlon, notching a score of 6,329 points at the Demon Deacon Combined Events.
2004-05: Competed in six different events during the three-met indoor schedule before long jumping in two meets outdoors ... finished fourth in the long jump at the All-Ohio Championships with a 22-2 1/4 leap.
High School: Was a three-sport letterwinner at John Hersey High School ... won four letters in soccer and basketball where he competed as a forward and guard, respectively ... earned three letters in track as a jumper, serving as a team captain for two seasons each on all three sports ... brings a personal best of 23-5 in the long jump ... earned 10th place in the state in each of his last two years ... earned all-conference honors in soccer while winning sectional and conference accolades during his prep years.
