2006-07: Cross Country -- Competed in all seven of Miami[apos]s races ... placed in the scoring five at the All-Ohio, MAC Championship and Great Lakes Regional ... top team finish was fourth at the conference meet ... turned in top overall finish of ninth at the Miami Invitational ... clocked in with season-best 8K time at the Pre-NCAA Invitational (26:22) ... placed among the top 40 runners at the MAC meet for the third straight season, finishing fourth on the team and 35th overall. Track and Field -- Competed in the steeplechase, turning in a season-best time of 9:37.18 at the All-Ohio Championships ... narrowly missed a scoring finish at the MAC meet, finishing with a ninth-place time of 9:45.87 ... did not see action during the indoor season.
2005-06: Cross Country -- Competed in all six of Miami[apos]s races ... top team finish was fifth at the Dayton Flyer 5K Challenge (Sept. 3), Notre Dame Invitational (Sept. 30) and Great Lakes Regional (Nov. 12) ... top overall finish was ninth at Dayton ... ran top 8K time of the season (25:57) at the Notre Dame Invitational ... finished one spot out of Miami[apos]s scoring five with a 25th-place time (26:03) at the MAC Championship (Oct. 29) ... had three top-25 finishes on the season. Track and Field -- Competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase ... clocked in with career-best time in the steeplechase (9:29.98) at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational at Cincinnati ... narrowly missed scoring at the MAC Championships with a ninth-place finish (9:31.69) in the steeplechase ... top steeplechase time was the second-fastest mark turned in by a Miami track athlete during the season.
2004-05: Cross Country -- Competed in all six of Miami[apos]s races through the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, placing between fifth and eighth among RedHawk runners ... top time on an 8K course was 26:02 at the Pre-NCAA meet. Track and Field -- Ran the 800 meters, 1,500 meters and mile during Miami[apos]s three indoor meets before running the steeplechase outdoors ... set a career-best time with his 9:33.92 time, good for seventh place, at the All-Ohio Championships ... top place finish in the event was fourth at UC Irvine in 9:46.48 ... finished 11th in the steeple at the MAC meet in 9:47.63.
2003-04: Took fourth in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Southern Ohio Cup ... Finished in the top 10 of the steeplechase twice more, placing sixth at the Cardinal Open and seventh at the All-Ohio Championships.
High School: Finished first in his district as a senior ... also went on to finish third in the region and 13th in the state ... was all-county MVP, as well as the conference[apos]s high scorer ... broke the school record in his first 1600 race ... began running the 1600 as a punishment for seperating his shoulder while playing in a pickup basketball game.
Personal: Son of Mike Campbell and Tammy Arthur ... born August 3, 1984 ... majoring in zoology.
