2018-19: Outdoor - Did not compete during the regular season ... in the offseason, ran a 1:47.33 in the 800m at the British U20 Championships, the second-fastest ever recorded by a Miami runner in the event ... took home bronze in the event at the European U20 Championships. Indoor/Cross Country - Did not compete.
High School: Competed in track & field (5 years), soccer (14 years) and basketball (6 years) at the scholastic level … posted the UK’s fastest U17 1500m time in 2016 … ran on England’s U20 team in the steeplechase in 2016 … spent 2014-17 on his county team for the national championships.
Personal: Born May 25, 2000 … parents are Joann and Steve Mclear … majoring in sport leadership and management.
