2018-19: Outdoor - Threw in six meets … finished 16th the MAC Championships (5/9-11) in the shot put with a distance of 13.20m (43-3.75) … finished seventh at Cincinnati (4/6) with a 12.86m (42-2.25). Indoor - Threw in eight meets … finished 18th at the conference meet (2/22-23) in the shot put with a throw of 12.10 (39-8.5) … had season bests in both the shot put (13.07m, 42-10.75) and the weight throw (15.73m, 51-7.25) at Cedarville (2/1), winning the shot put and coming second in the weight throw.
High School: Lettered four times in track & field and three times in golf … set the school record in the shot put … first track and field competitor from her school to qualify for the state meet all four years … finished runner up in the shot put at state twice … won three conference titles, two district crowns and one regional title in the shot put … first girl’s thrower in Northwest Ohio to compete at the state meet all four years.
Personal: Born Nov. 10, 1999 … parents are Laura and Chad Rigel … enjoys reading and nature walks … majoring in university studies.
