2018-19: Outdoor - Ran in six meets … finished fifth at the MAC Championships (5/9-11) in the steeplechase with a personal-best 10:43.95 run … finished fifth in the steeple at Cincinnati (4/6) … posted a season-best 17:38.24 in the 5000m at North Carolina State’s Raleigh Relays (3/29-30). Indoor - Ran in seven meets … finished 16th in the 3000m at the MAC meet (2/22-23) … season best in that event was a 10:02.46 at Grand Valley State (2/8) … also ran in the 5000 (best 17:33.32) and the mile (best 5:03.18). Cross Country - ran in five meets … finished 42nd at the MAC Championship … season best was 22:23.3 at the RedHawk Rumble (9/22) where she finished sixth.

High School: Lettered four times each in cross country and track & field … earned all-state honors three times in cross country, finishing as high as 15th in the state meet in 2017 … two-time all-state performer in track & field, finishing sixth and seventh in Michigan in the 1600m in 2017 and 2018, respectively … helped 4x800m relay team finish third in the state … helped team qualify for the state meet all four years … placed in school’s Academic Hall of Fame.

Personal: Born Aug. 31, 2000 … parents are Kristin and John Vitou, who both attended Miami … majoring in biochemistry and premedical studies … enjoys reading, baking and skiing.
