2017-18: Outdoor – Competed in four meets … named Academic All-MAC … took 13th in the 1500m (4:43.81) at the RedHawk Invitational (4/28). Indoor – Did not compete. Cross Country – Raced in two meets.
2016-17: Outdoor – Did not compete. Indoor – Competed in three meets … took 11th in the 3000m (10:22.94) at the Indiana Relays (1/27-28). Cross Country – Raced in six meets … named Academic All-MAC … finished 56th (23:03.0) at the MAC Championship (10/29) … top time was 22:06.6 (99th) at the Great Lakes Regional (11/11).
2015-16: Outdoor – Raced in four meets … finished 16th in the 1500m (4:52.48) at the MAC Outdoor Championships (5/12-14) … took runner-up in the 1500m (4:40.25) at the Billy Hayes Invitational (5/6). Indoor – Competed in six meets … finished 18th in the mile (5:07.74) at the MAC Indoor Championships (2/26-27) … clocked a season-best 5:00.72 in the mile at the Music City Challenge (2/12-13), where she took 22nd. Cross Country – Ran in five meets … took 91st (24:12.3) at the MAC Championship (10/31) … best individual finish was 42nd (20:26.2) at the season-opening Flyer 5K (9/5).
High School: Earned four letters apiece in both cross country and track and field … part of a state record setting 4x800m relay team … finished with the fifth fastest cross country time in her school’s history … owns personal bests of 2:20 (800m), 5:07 (1600m), 5:08 (mile run) and 18:38 (5K) … helped cross country team win a state title in 2014 while also helping squad finish state runner-up in 2012 … named an All-American at the New Balance Nationals as part of the second-place distance medley relay and sixth-place 4x800m relay teams … earned all-state honors in both track and field and cross country as a senior … named Academic All-Ohio, member of the Scholar-Athlete Team and French Honors Society.
Personal: Born May 25, 1997 … daughter of Anne and Greg Kohls … plans to major in early childhood education … enjoys reading, decorating, canoeing, painting and hiking.
