2015-2016: In the 50-yard freestyle, took seventh vs. OSU (22.23) and 20th at the Miami Invitational (21.73) ... earned fifth in the 100-yard freestyle vs. Purdue (48.05) ... finished first in the 200-yard freestyle vs. Xavier (1:42.79) ... in the same event, finished second three times: vs. Purdue (1:42.92), vs. Cincinnati (1:41.84), vs. Buffalo (1:42.88) ... collected third twice: vs. OSU and vs. Eastern Michigan (1:41.82) ... took sixth at the Miami Invite (1:40.27) and 12th at MACs (1:39.46)... earned first in the 500-yard free vs. Ball State (4:47.97) and second twice: vs. Xavier and vs. OSU ... took third in the same event vs. Cincinnati (4:41.45) and 10th at the Miami Invite (4:37.29) ... took 12th at MACs (4:31.00) ... turned in a 13th-place finish in the 1650 freestyle at MACs (16:00.71) ... took fifth in the 200-yard freestyle relay at MACs (2:59.89) ... swam a leg of the first-place finishing 400-yard freestyle relay team vs. OSU (3:10.74) ... finished second in the 400-yard medley relay team vs. Eastern Michigan (3:06.40).
2014-2015: Academic All-MAC ... competed in the 200-yard freestyle where he claimed first vs. Cleveland State (1:42.15), third vs. Buffalo and fourth vs. Cincinnati ... placed second in the 500-yard freestyle vs. Cleveland State (4:45.10) and fourth vs. Buffalo ... placed fourth vs. Ball State in the 100-yard freestyle (48.00) ... finished first in t 1000-yard freestyle vs. Ball State (9:53.16) ... was first in the 400-yard freestyle relay vs. Eastern Michigan (3:07.01) ... competed in four events at the Mid-American Conference Championships ... claimed 15th in the 100-yard butterfly (1:40.29) ... was 14th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:36.68) ... finished 17th in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:26.56) ... swam a leg of the fifth-place finishing 800-yard freestyle relay team (6:38.13) ... was first in the 1000-yard freestyle against Ball State (9:53.16).
2013-2014: Dieter began his sophomore season with a fourth-place finish in the 200 medley relay and a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle against Xavier. He also contributed to a second-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay against the Musketeers. Dieter won both the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle against Cleveland State. He then contributed to first-place finishes in the 800 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay in addition to a third-place finish in the 3x500 freestyle relay. He took second against Purdue in the 200 freestyle. He also took second in the 200 freestyle relay and third in the 500 freestyle individually. At the Miami Invitational, Dieter was a member of Miami's third-place finishing 800 freestyle relay team, Miami's eighth-place 200 freestyle relay, the ninth-place 400 medley relay and the fourth-place 400 freestyle relay. Dieter took fifth in the 200 freestyle, 22nd in the 50 freestyle, eighth in the 500 freestyle and 16th in the 100 freestyle individually at the Invite. Dieter won the 200 freestyle against Cincinnati and finished fourth in the 200 freestyle relay. Against Evansville, he took first in the 200 butterfly and third in the 200 backstroke. At Buffalo, Dieter finished fifth in the 200 freestyle and third in the 500 freestyle. He finished first in the 200 freestyle relay against the Bulls. In the 200 freestyle against Eastern Michigan, Dieter swam to a third-place finish. He also took sixth in the 500 freestyle and second in the 400 freestyle relay. Dieter won the 1000 freestyle against Ball State. He also took fourth in both the 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle relay. At the MAC Championships, Dieter finished 11th in the 500 freestyle, fifth in the 200 freestyle, fifth in the 800 freestyle relay and 12th in the 1650 freestyle.
2012-2013: Dieter began his career as a RedHawk by placing second in the 200 and 500 freestyle races. He finished second in the 100 free at Evansville, then finished second in the 200 free at Purdue. In the tie with CSU, Dieter won the 200 free contest and finished fourth in the 100 free. In the Miami Invitational, Dieter finished second in the 800 free relay and third in the 200 free, placed fifth in the 200 free relay and sixth in the 400 free relay, raced to an eighth place finish in the 400 medley relay, and finished 12th in the 500 free and 14th in the 100 free. At Cincinnati, the freshman took third in the 200 free and went runner-up in the 500 free. He won the 200 and 500 free races agaisnt the Buffalo Bulls, then finished third in the 200 free against Eastern Michigan. In Miami's final home event, Dieter took first in the 200 free and fourth in the 100 free. At the 2013 MAC Championships, he finished 14th in the 500 free final, 11th in the 200 free final, and earned a fourth-place finish in the 800 free relay.
High School: Four year letter winner and team captain for one year...holds records in the 200 freestyle (1:39), the 100 freestyle (46.6), and the 500 freestyle (4:40)...conference sectional champion in 2010 and 2011...finished fifth in States in 2011...named All-State and All-American.
