(RV/NA) Miami will play its first home games in more a month this weekend, hosting Omaha in NCHC action. The RedHawks come in at 12-8-2 (3-7-2 NCHC) after a split at (RV/RV) Arizona State (2-1 OT win, 1-0 loss) and are receiving votes in the USCHO.com poll. The Mavericks are 8-14-0 (4-8-0 NCHC) and split at home with (RV/RV) St. Cloud State last weekend (6-2 win, 2-1 loss).

This week's games at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena are set for Friday, Jan. 16 at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 17 at 6:05 p.m. The contests will be broadcast live on NCHC.tv and will also air live on Rock Entertainment Sports Network. Greg Waddell (play-by-play), Drew Davis (analyst), and David Ventura (rinkside reporter) will have the call, with audio coverage streaming on MiamiRedHawks.com.

Matteo Giampa (9-10-19) leads the RedHawks in points, just ahead of Kocha Delic (7-11-18). Giampa also shares the team lead in goals with Maximilion Helgeson (9-5-14). Vladislav Lukashevich (2-15-17) tops Miami in assists. Matteo Drobac, the reigning NCHC Goaltender of the Week, is 11-8-2 in net (2.93 GAA, .905 save %).

Drobac and head coach Anthony Noreen met with the media this week to preview the games against the Mavericks.
