HOW IT HAPPENED
- 0:16 1st (Miami 1-0) | The RedHawks got off to a dream start when Casper Nassen fished the puck out from the neutral-zone boards and sent a pass ahead for Stupka to track down in a one-on-one break. Stupka finished past Hobie Hedquist to give the RedHawks the lead just 16 seconds into the contest.
- 10:05 3rd (Ferris State 1-1) | The Bulldogs tied the game on the power play near the midway point of the third period when Josh Zary tipped in a long shot by Christopher Lie in front. Connor McGrath started the sequence and also was credited with an assist.
- 17:01 3rd (Miami 2-1) | A strong forecheck by Ilia Morozov and Matteo Giampa led to Miami's game-winning goal with less than three minutes remaining. A deep blast from Michael Quinn set up Delic's goal on the rebound that proved to be the difference. Giampa earned the second assist on the play.
- 19:27 3rd (Miami 3-1) | The RedHawks clinched victory when Helgeson wrestled the puck away from Ferris State in Miami's offensive zone and flung a shot in one motion all the way to the empty net for an unassisted goal.

- Miami swept Ferris State for the first time since Jan. 15-16, 2010 and the first time in Oxford since Dec. 1-2, 2006.
