RedHawks Host RPI to Wrap Up Non-Conference Play

Miami Hockey wraps up non-conference play this weekend with a home series against RPI. The RedHawks come in at 3-3-2 after splitting a pair of games against Lindenwood (4-2 loss, 4-1 win). The Engineers are 2-3-1 (0-2-0 ECAC) and have dropped three straight games, including both ends of a home-and-home conference series against Union last week (6-3 at home, 6-4 on the road).

This week's games are set for Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2 at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena in Oxford, with puck drop at 7:05 p.m. both nights. The games will stream on NCHC.tv, with radio coverage on MiamiRedHawks.com Friday and WMOH 1450 AM The Ticket (Hamilton, Ohio) Saturday. Greg Waddell and Drew Davis have the call.

Colby Ambrosio leads Miami with eight points (3-5-8); he shares the team lead in goals (3) with Matt Choupani and Casper Nassen and the assist lead (5) with Raimonds Vitolins and Johnny Waldron. Bruno Bruveris is 2-3-1 between the pipes (3.07 GAA, .893 save %), while Ethan Dahlmeir is 1-0-1 in goal (1.95 GAA, .929 save %)

Christophe Fillion and head coach Anthony Noreen met with the media this week to preview the games against the Engineers.
