HOW IT HAPPENED:

- 10:10 1st (Miami 1-1) | Axel Kumlin tied the game up 1-1 when he scored off a rebound of his own shot. Barbolini created the opportunity when he was able to work the puck from the side boards and enter it into the zone. Waldron spun free from there and fired a cross-ice pass to Kumlin for the successive shots on goal.
- 4:30 2nd (Arizona State 2-1) | Lukas Sillinger fired one off the top crossbar and in the RedHawk net off a centering pass from Dylan Jackson to grab the Sun Devils a 2-1 lead. Ty Jackson also had an assist on the play.

- 14:38 3rd (Miami 4-3) | On the RedHawk power play, Barbolini fed Raimonds Vitolins for a one-timer from the left circle to cut the deficit to 4-3. Waldron was battling in front of the net and had the secondary assist that helped keep the play alive.
- 19:04 3rd (Miami 4-4) | After killing off a late ASU power play, the RedHawks struck in the final minute for an extra-attacker goal to force overtime. A deep Barbolini shot bounced to Vitolins, who promptly connected with William Hallén on the far side of the cage for a one-time finish that made it 4-4.
- 00:21 OT (Miami 5-4) | Waldron combined with Kumlin for a textbook 2-on-1 in the opening minute of overtime to put the finishing touch on the RedHawks' dramatic comeback victory. Waldron snatched the puck following a Barbolini faceoff win in the defensive zone and skated it past the attacking blue line. After a quick feed across to Kumlin on his right, Waldron took the return pass and buried it to give Miami its first overtime win since November 2018.
