Hockey Preview: Mercyhurst

Miami travels to Erie, Pa. to take on Mercyhurst in the RedHawks' final contest of the 2021 calendar year. The same teams will face off again 23 days later in Oxford. The two matchups will be Miami's last non-conference games of the regular season.
Miami won the only previous meeting with Mercyhurst, a 3-0 decision at the Ice Breaker tournament in Erie on October 13, 2018.
Puck drop is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 5. The game will be available on FloHockey.tv. WMOH 1450 AM The Ticket (Hamilton, Ohio) will broadcast the action with Greg Waddell on the call.
Miami enters the weekend at 3-12-1 (1-7-0 NCHC), while the Lakers come in at 4-8-4 (3-5-4-1 AHA)
Head coach Chris Bergeron and senior forward Matt Barry met with the media this week to preview the games against Mercyhurst.
