OXFORD, Ohio - Although the holiday season is winding down, the Miami hockey team still has a treat for the Oxford community as players will serve dinner to community members during the annual Rico's Ristorante, which is set for Tuesday, Jan. 3 and is sponsored by the Blue Line Club.
Dinner will be served at Bell Tower Place on Miami's campus and starts at 6 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. The event is open to the public and no reservations are necessary as patrons can pay at the door.
The meal is an all-you-can-eat dinner that includes a stir fry station, pizza, cheese sticks, wings, salad, smoothies and dessert. At the stir fry station, those dining will have the option of beef, chicken or shrimp along with the vegetables, sauces and rice they desire. The players will then fix it and cook it in a wok where it will be served with an egg roll for a delicious meal.
Players will also be in front of the oven, tossing dough, spreading the cheese and slicing up some tasty pizza. Other `Hawks will be blending up smoothies and making salads for the diners' enjoyment while dessert will also be served.
Those dining will also have the chance to interact and talk with the players and get to know them better all while they serve you dinner. Don't miss this chance to support the Miami hockey team and the Blue Line Club while also getting to enjoy a great meal served by the team itself.
