Miami Hockey Announces Addition of Ryan Seelinger

OXFORD, Ohio— Miami Hockey head coach Anthony Noreen announced today that Ryan Seelinger will join the RedHawks' program ahead of the 2026-27 season. Seelinger, a forward from Downers Grove, Ill., spent last season with Des Moines in the USHL.

Collected 68 points (31-37-68) in 61 games to lead Des Moines Buccaneers in scoring in 2025-26
Named a finalist for USHL Forward of the Year and USHL Player of the Year
Recognized as Second-Team All-USHL
Became first Buccaneer in two decades to reach 30 goals and 30 assists in same season
Ranked in top 10 in USHL with a +26 plus-minus rating
Added two goals in three playoff appearances for Des Moines
Put up 33 points (14-19-33) in 2024-25 campaign with Buccaneers
Named NAHL Rookie of the Year in 2023-24 after producing 48 points (18-30-48) with New Mexico Wolves
