Miami Hockey Announces Addition of Timmy Runtso

OXFORD, Ohio— Miami Hockey head coach Anthony Noreen announced today that Timmy Runtso will join the RedHawks' program ahead of the 2026-27 season. Runtso, a defenseman from Playa Vista, Calif., spent last season with Victoria in the WHL.

PRIOR TO MIAMI
- Produced 44 points (11-33-44) in 68 appearances for Victoria Royals during 2025-26 season
- Participated in WHL Prospects Game in February 2026, contributing an assist
- Spent 2024-25 with St. Cloud (NAHL), putting up 27 points (8-19-27) in 53 games
- Named NAHL Central Division Rookie of the Year in 2024-25
- Ranked 53rd among North American skaters in NHL Central Scouting's draft prospect rankings
