2005 `Lefty' Continues Growth into Premier College Hockey Event

Ticket Order Form in PDF Format In just three years, the Lefty McFadden College Hockey Invitational has grown from a startup NCAA college hockey tournament to one of the elite events in college hockey. The 2005 `Lefty' is scheduled for October 8 and 9 at the Ervin J. Nutter Center in Beginning in 2002, the `Lefty' has drawn many of the country's best and most recognizable college hockey names to "The `Lefty' is now one of the tournaments that all teams in college hockey look at," says Each of this year's teams has appeared in the NCAA hockey tournament at least once in the past three years. In all, "If you play in the `Lefty', you jump right into the fire as far competition goes," says Blasi. "There are no automatic wins in this tournament. This year is no exception. It is a great field."
