RedHawks Edges Out Ohio In OT, 64-63

OXFORD, Ohio (AP) - A tip-in by Chet Mason with four seconds left gave Miami a 64-63 overtime victory against Ohio on Wednesday night.

A pair of free throws by Ohio's Thomas Stephens with 26 seconds left in regulation capped a 10-0 run and sent the game to overtime.

Juby Johnson and Danny Horace each had 19 points for Miami (14-8, 10-4 Mid-American Conference). Jaivon Harris led Ohio (9-15, 6-8) with 28 points, and Stephens added 11.

Ohio dominated the first half and led 33-29 at halftime. But Miami started the second half with an 8-0 run, led by 10 with 2:40 to play but did not score again in regulation

Horace hit a 3-pointer to start the overtime period and the lead see-sawed the rest of the way. A pair of free throws by Sonny Troutman gave Ohio a one-point lead with 1:38 remaining, but Johnson made a pair for Miami to regain the lead at 1:25.

Harris made two to put Ohio ahead again at 1:12, and the only scoring after that was Mason's tip-in.
