What: Per Seat License (PSL) - A portion of the total cost to purchase a season ticket. Formally known as "Donor Based Seating." 
 
Why the Change: Due to the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, all gifts associated with the right to purchase tickets are no longer tax deductible.

Why require a PSL: The annual revenue generated from the PSL’s contributes to the $6 million in scholarship support provided to Miami student-athletes on an annual basis.
 
How am I am helping: Example - Total PSL of four season tickets in the Goggin lower bowl ($125/seat) = $500… the equivalent of the cost of books per student-athlete each semester.

How does this affect my Miami Athletic Fund (MAF) Status/ Benefits: PSL’s are not credited to MAF benefit status but provide access to special events for season ticket holders. In an effort to protect the tax-deductibility of your contributions, all transactions regarding tickets are independent from any philanthropic.
