2014-2015: Academic All-MAC ... competed in two events at MAC Championships ... finished 10th in the 200-yard backstroke (1:48.67) ... finished first in the same event against Xavier and took second twice, once against Purdue and once Cleveland State ... finished 13th in the 100-yard backstroke at MAC Championships (50.06), turning his top time of the season ... finished second against Xavier and third against Cincinnati in the same event ... earned fifth in the 200-yard butterfly against Ball State ... claimed seventh in the 200-yard IM against Buffalo (2:01.17) ... swam a leg of the 200-yard medley relay, finishing first against Ball Sate (1:34.13) and fourth against Cincinnati (1:36.11).
2013-2014: Unamboowe began the season with a second-place finishes in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke against Cleveland State. Against Purdue, Unamboowe swam to a fourth-place finish in the 100 backstroke and a first-place finish in the 200 IM. At the Miami Invitational, he finished 10th in the 100 backstroke, fourth in the 400 medley relay, 11th in the 200 backstroke and 19th in the 200 IM. Unamboowe finished first in the 200 medley relay and second in the 100 backstroke against Cincinnati. He took sixth in the 200 IM. Against Buffalo, he finished third in the 200 medley relay, first in the 100 backstroke and sixth in the 200 IM. He was a first-place finisher in the 200 medley relay against Eastern Michigan and finished sixth in the 100 backstroke. He also finished seventh in the 200 IM against the Eagles. Unamboowe finished second in the 200 IM against Ball State and added a fourth-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay. At the MAC Championships, he took 13th in the 100 backstroke and 10th in the 200 backstroke.
