Played in 34 games for the Grand Lake Mariners... started in 32 of those... batted .224 with 24 hits, including six doubles and a home run... drove in 10 runs, while scoring 17... walked 10 times and was hit once... made three appearances on the mound, striking out four in 1.2 innings.

Played in 26 games, starting 23... batted .214 with one home run and 10 RBIs... also had four doubles among his 18 hits... was walked four times... had his first career home run, his first career RBI and his first career stolen base in a 23-5 victory over Furman (2/20)... drove in a pair of runs on two occasions... tallied three hits and three runs (both career highs) against Indiana (3/13).

Earned four letters in baseball under coach Brian Harlamert at Coldwater HS, serving as team captain as a senior ... as a senior, hit a whopping .547 with 13 doubles, three triples and seven home runs ... scored 45 runs and drove in 44 ... on the mound, went 9-1 with a 0.63 ERA, fanning 74 batters ... had a 0.75 WHIP as a senior, helping lead the Cavaliers to a 30-3 mark, a No. 2 ranking in the state of Ohio and the state semifinals ... helped lead team to state semis as a junior as well ... was a two-time All-Ohio selection and was named All-Midwest Athletic Conference all four years ... also earned four letters in football as a quarterback and safety and two in basketball as a guard ... helped football team win the Ohio state title as a freshman and junior ... made honor roll all four years.
