2018-19: Outdoor - Ran in two meets … took third in the 5000m at Miami’s Blizzard Buster (3/23) with a 17:52.93. Indoor - Did not compete. Cross Country - Ran in five meets … finished eighth at the RedHawk Rumble (9/22) with a season-best 22:25.1 … Academic All-MAC.

2017-18: Outdoor – Competed in five meets … named Academic All-MAC … finished second in the 3000m (10:27.38) at the Billy Hayes Invitational (5/4). Indoor – Did not compete. Cross Country – Ran in three meets … took 46th (19:10.3) at the Indiana Open (9/2).

2016-17: Outdoor – Ran in seven meets … took 19th in the 10,000m (37:28.23) at the MAC Outdoor Championships (5/11-13) … took fifth in the 1500m (4:44.83) at the RedHawk Invitational (4/29). Indoor – Competed in four meets … took seventh in the mile (5:21.93) at the Findlay Meet for Everyone (2/17). Cross Country – Raced in six meets … top finish with fifth (23:39.5) at the All-Ohio Championship (9/30) … took 68th (23:15.8) at the MAC Championship (10/29) … finished 153rd (22:50.8) at the Great Lakes Regional (11/11).

High School: lettered four years in cross country and track at Portage Northern … captain of cross country team as a junior and captain of track team senior year … personal best for 5K is 18:17, 11:09.13 for 3200m, 5:15.32 for 1600m … owns third fastest CC time in school history … regional champions senior year … Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference champions in cross country and 3200m in 2013 and 2015 … all-conference in 1600m all four years … all-conference in 3200m freshman through junior years … all-conference for CC all four years … all-region in CC all four years … all-state in CC senior year. 

Personal: Born May 20, 1998 … parents Brian and Michelle VanderHoff … received Highest Honors all four years at Portage Northern … won Outstanding Research Project Award at the Kalamazoo Area Math and Science Center in 2013 and twice in 2015 … enjojys reading, hiking, and swimming ... majoring in biochemistry/pre-medical studies and minor in Spanish.
