2015-16 Track & Field: Outdoor – Named Academic All-MAC and MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete … took seventh in the hammer throw (178-3) at the MAC Outdoor Championships (5/12-14) … launched a season-best throw of 179-4 to finish second in the hammer throw at the Ball State Challenge (4/15-16). Indoor – Named Academic All-MAC and MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete … finished 10th in the weight throw (55-11 1/4) at the MAC Indoor Championships (2/26-27) … finished fifth in the weight throw (personal-best 58-8) at the Music City Challenge (2/12-13).
2015 Outdoor Track & Field: Competed in six meets for the Red and White … opened action at the UNF Spring Break Invitational throwing hammer and shot put marking 152’ in the hammer and 35’ 3.25” in the shot put … had her top hammer throw at the the All-Ohio Championships throwing a mark of 180’ 8” … marked her top shot put at the Rankin/Poehlein Invitational … threw the hammer at the MAC Championships marking 171’6” finishing 11th place.
2014-15 Indoor Track & Field: Competed in six meets for the RedHawks … opened her season at the Mastodon Opener throwing in the shot put and the weight throw marking 34’ 10.5” and 47’ 8” respectively … had her personal record weight throw mark at the Akron Invitational marking 48’6”.
High School: Earned four letters in track and three letters in basketball at Highland High School ... held personal bests of 119 feet 6.2 inches in discus and 35 feet 2 inches in shot put ... all district and conference honors in shot put and discus ... honor student.
Personal: July birthday ... Daugther of Laurie and Larry Szekely ... both mother, Laura and sister, Sarah are Miami graduates ... majoring in Psychology.
