Made 22 appearances, all out of the bullpen... went 1-0 with an 8.24 ERA... totalled 31.2 innings... struck out 29, while walking only 17... made his longest stint of the season -- 5.0 innings -- at Eastern Kentucky (3/23)... lasted at least three innings in three other contests... struck out a career-high five batters on three occasions... had four Ks two other times... earned his first career win at Cincinnati (5/11).

HIGH SCHOOL
Played four years of baseball at Cabell Midland High under head coach Tracy Brumfield, serving as team captain as a senior ... compiled a 1.7 ERA as a senior while recording a 5-1 record with 11 saves on the mound ... helped lead the Knights to a 25-5 record as a senior and a No. 1 state ranking in West Virginia ... named Second-Team All-Mountain State Athletic Conference ... also played in the outfield for the Knights ... competed for four years in soccer and one year in football at Cabell Midland, as well ... graduated with high honors.
