TOLEDO, Ohio – The RedHawks were held to two hits Saturday in a 20-4 run-rule loss to Toledo. All four of the runs for Miami were scored in the fourth inning thanks to a grand slam by Mason Breidenbach. Miami drops to 25-13 (14-7 MAC) with the loss, while Toledo improves to 17-22 (13-8 MAC).

HOW IT HAPPENED

Toledo took a 3-0 lead in the first, scoring on four hits.
The Rockets' offense put up nine runs in the second inning, capitalizing on six hits and two Miami errors to pull ahead 12-0.
A home run extended Toledo's lead to 13-0 in the third.
Mason Breidenbach put Miami on the board in the fourth. After a single by Tommy Harrison and two back-to-back walks loaded the bases, Breidenbach sent everyone home with a four-run swing to right-center.
Toledo scored seven more runs in the bottom of the fourth, scoring off three hits, including a three-run home run, which concluded the scoring for the game.

MIAMI GAME NOTES:

Harrison went 1-for-2 with a run.
Each team left three runners on base.
The RedHawks were outhit by the Rockets 14-2.

UP NEXT:
The RedHawks will prepare for a home contest this Tuesday at home and then prepare for a three-game series against Central Michigan over the weekend.
