COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- The NCHC released its 2025-26 preseason poll this afternoon. The Miami University hockey team was picked to finish ninth, receiving a total of 35 votes.
Defending national champion Western Michigan was picked first, followed by Denver and North Dakota. Four different conference programs received first-place votes
in the poll.
The RedHawks get the 2025-26 season underway on Friday, Oct. 3 against Ferris State at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m.
