RedHawks Head to Bowling Green For Tuesday Night Contest

TUESDAY: Miami hits the road for a conference contest at Bowling Green on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 7 p.m. The Red and White enter this game with a 13-0 record, its best start to a season in program history. Miami ranks among the top of the nation in numerous statistical categories heading into this game, which includes being first in the country in effective field goal percentage (0.643), first in field goal percentage (54.6), second in three-point percentage (43.6), fifth in scoring offense (95.1), fifth in threes per game (11.8), ninth in scoring margin (24.0), 19th in bench points per game (36.38), 26th in assist/turnover ratio (1.72), 28th in defensive rebounds per game (28.69) 36th in assists per game (18.2/game) and 38th in free throw percentage (76.6).
ABOUT BOWLING GREEN: Bowling Green is currently 10-3 (1-0 MAC), as the Falcons are currently on a four-game winning streak. Bowling Green went 14-18 (8-10 MAC) last year. Head coach Todd Simon is in his third season with the Falcons. Heading into the 2025-26 season, Bowling Green was selected to finish seventh overall in the 2025-26 MAC Coaches' Preseason Men's Basketball Poll. Senior guard Javonte Campbell was selected to the Preseason First Team All-MAC.

This also marked the seventh consecutive game that Miami has shot over 50% from the field.Â
The RedHawks went 20-of-30 (66.7%) from behind the arc (the fourth time this season Miami has shot over 50% from beyond the arc). Miami recorded under 10 turnovers for the fourth time this season. The RedHawks totaled the second most points (135) and the second most assists (32) in a single game for a Miami team.
RANKINGS: The Miami University men's basketball team received six votes in the most recent Associated Press Top 25 men's college basketball poll on Monday, Dec. 22. The Red and White earned its highest ranking of the 2025-26 season on the Mid-Major Top 25® Poll, as Collegeinsider announced that the RedHawks ranked No. 3 overall on Monday, Dec. 22 as well. The RedHawks are just one of six teams that are still undefeated at the Division I level (Arizona, Iowa State, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska and Vanderbilt).
SHARPSHOOTING: The RedHawks are currently shooting 54.6% from the field, 43.6% from the three-point line and 76.6% from the free-throw line.Â
GUARD PLAY: Senior Peter Suder (ninth in MAC/102nd nationally) and sophomore Luke Skaljac (second in MAC/19th nationally) lead the RedHawks in assist turnover ratio. Skaljac leads the team with a ratio of 3.86, while Suder (2.50) follows closely behind.Â
