(RV) Miami plays its final home games of the 2025 calendar year when No. 19 Colorado College comes to town for an NCHC series. The RedHawks are 10-6-0, 2-6-0 NCHC after dropping two games at then-No. 6 Denver (4-0 and 5-2 scores). Miami played its first games as a nationally-ranked team last weekend (No. 19) since Jan. 12, 2019. The Tigers come in at 8-7-1, 2-5-1 NCHC and haven't played since a split with then-No. 16 Providence in late November (3-2 win, 2-1 loss).
This week's games at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena are set for Friday, Dec. 12 at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 13 at 6:05 p.m. The contests will be broadcast live on NCHC.tv and will also air on Rock Entertainment Sports Network (live Friday, with Saturday's game tape-delayed). Greg Waddell (play-by-play), Drew Davis (analyst), and David Ventura (rinkside reporter) will have the call, with audio coverage streaming on MiamiRedHawks.com.
Matteo Giampa (9-7-16) leads the RedHawks in points and goals, and Vladislav Lukashevich (2-12-14) tops Miami in assists. Matteo Drobac has played every minute in net and is 10-6-0 between the pipes (3.13 GAA, .900 save %).
Defenseman Owen Lalonde and head coach Anthony Noreen met with the media this week to preview the games against the Tigers.
