Miami Hockey heads into its first road conference series of the 2025-26 season, traveling to take on defending national champion Western Michigan. The RedHawks (7-1-0, 1-1-0 NCHC) are receiving votes in both major national polls. Miami was off last week after a home split against Arizona State (4-1 L, 5-2 W). No. 9/8 WMU (5-5-0, 1-3-0 NCHC) dropped a pair of home games last week to then-No. 9/11 Denver (3-1 and 6-3).

This week's games at Lawson Ice Arena are set for Friday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. The contests will be broadcast on NCHC.tv, with Greg Waddell's audio broadcast streaming on MiamiRedHawks.com.

The line of LW Kocha Delic (5-6-11), RW Matteo Giampa (3-7-10) and C Ilia Morozov (4-5-9) has made a massive offensive impact through eight games for Miami, with those three skaters leading the team in points. Ryan Smith (6-2-8) and Maximilion Helgeson (6-2-8) top the RedHawks in goals, while Vladislav Lukashevich (1-7-8) and Giampa have seven assists apiece. Matteo Drobac has played every minute in net for the Red and White and is 7-1-0 between the pipes (2.61 GAA, .911 save %).

Freshman defenseman Michael Phelan and head coach Anthony Noreen met with the media this week to preview the games against the Broncos.
