Undefeated RedHawks Travel to Lindenwood
10/22/2025 3:22:00 PM | Hockey
After a bye week, Miami Hockey takes a 4-0-0 record to Lindenwood this weekend. The RedHawks are coming off a sweep at RPI (5-3 and 5-0 wins) to earn votes in both national polls (last week was the first time that's happened since October 30, 2023). Miami owns a four-game winning streak, its longest since October 2023, and is currently the only undefeated team in the NCHC. Lindenwood, with one vote in the USCHO poll, comes in at 3-3-0 after a home split with then-No. 5 Denver (4-3 W, 4-0 L).
This week's games at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Mo. are set for Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 25, with puck drop at 8:10 p.m. ET both nights. The contests will stream on FloHockey, with Greg Waddell's audio broadcast available on MiamiRedHawks.com.
The line of Kocha Delic (4-3-7), Ilia Morozov (3-4-7) and Matteo Giampa (3-5-8) has made a massive offensive impact through four games for Miami. Delic tops the RedHawks in goals, while Giampa leads the team in assists, and 10 different RedHawks have lit the lamp already this season. Matteo Drobac is a perfect 4-0-0 between the pipes (2.00 GAA, .928 save %) and posted a shutout in Miami's last game. Morozov was named NCHC Forward of the Week on Oct. 15, while Delic was recognized as NCHC Rookie of the Week and Drobac was honored as NCHC Goaltender of the Week that same day.
Delic and head coach Anthony Noreen met with the media this week to preview the games against the Lions.
