TROY, N.Y.— The Miami University hockey team got on the scoreboard 62 seconds into the game and led the rest of the way en route to a 5-0 victory at RPI Saturday night. Matteo Drobac picked up his first career shutout victory for the RedHawks, who improve to 4-0-0 for the first time since 2007 with their second consecutive sweep. Ilia Morozov collected three points (1-2-3) for the second night in a row and was one of five RedHawks to score a goal. RPI falls to 0-2-0 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- 1:02 1st (Miami 1-0) | The RedHawks jumped on top early, as Matteo Giampa intercepted a pass in the RedHawks' offensive zone on the forecheck and promptly deposited a backhand shot past RPI goaltender Nate Krawchuk for the unassisted opening tally.
- 9:57 2nd (Miami 2-0) | Morozov doubled the RedHawks' advantage near the game's midway point, finishing off a picture-perfect give-and-go with Michael Quinn for a 2-0 lead. Kocha Delic earned the second assist, tipping the puck forward to Morozov before taking a hit in the neutral zone. Vladislav Lukashevich started the play in the Miami end by sending a pass around the boards for Delic to relay ahead.
- 0:22 3rd (Miami 3-0) | Miami extended its lead just 22 seconds into the third period. Casper Nassen took a pass from Justin Stupka behind the goal and skated it almost to the blue line before firing toward the goal. Doug Grimes redirected Nassen's shot out of midair into the net for a 3-0 RedHawk lead.
- 9:41 3rd (Miami 4-0) | The RedHawks killed off their only penalty of the game midway through the final stanza and scored only seven seconds later. Morozov cleared the puck ahead for Delic, who maneuvered past the RPI defense down the left side of the rink and quickly added Miami's fourth goal of the night.
- 16:34 3rd (Miami 5-0) | The Red and White wrapped up the scoring with 3:26 to play, as Lukashevich blasted a deep shot past Krawchuk off assists from Morozov and Giampa.
