Miami resumes NCHC play this weekend with a home series against No. 10/10 Western Michigan. Miami enters the 2024 portion of its schedule with a 6-10-2 record (0-7-1 NCHC) after a series split at Niagara, losing 4-1 and winning 3-0. The Broncos are coming off a road sweep at Lindenwood last weekend (3-2 and 6-1 victories).
This weekend's games are set for Friday, Jan. 12 and Saturday, Jan. 13 with puck drop scheduled for 7:05 p.m. both nights. The games are available on NCHC.tv, with radio coverage from Greg Waddell (play-by-play) and Drew Davis (analyst) airing on WKBV 1490 AM (Richmond, Ind.).

John Waldron (6-9-15) comes into January on a five-game point streak. Logan Neaton is 5-9-2 in net and owns a 3.03 GAA and .900 save percentage in 16 starts. Freshman goaltender Bruno Bruveris picked up his first career win and first career shutout in Miami's most recent game at Niagara (Dec. 30).
