Bergeron Announces Seven Additions to Hockey Roster

Miami University head coach Chris Bergeron has announced seven new additions to his hockey program. Along with previously announced signees Bruno Bruveris and Raimonds Vitolins, the nine newcomers will be part of the RedHawks' roster for the 2023-24 season.

Tanyon Bajzer, Spencer Cox, Teddy Lagerback, Brayden Morrison, Albin Nilsson, Rihards Simanovics and Ryan Sullivan will join Bruveris and Vitolins to wear the Red and White this winter.

"We are excited to add these young men to the Miami Hockey family," said Bergeron. "We feel they are all going to help us as we continue to move our program forward."

Played for NAHL's Odessa Jackalopes for past two seasons, producing 77 points (39-38-77) in 109 appearances
Scored 21 goals and dished out 27 assists in 2022-23 campaign, serving as Jackalopes' alternate captain
Recognized as an NAHL South Division 2023 Top Prospect, compiling three points in two games at Top Prospects Tournament
Named South Division Star of the Week on two different occasions
Was a finalist for Greater Cleveland Sports Commission's Male High School Athlete of Year in 2020
Served as team captain during senior year at Gilmour Academy

Played junior hockey with Chippewa Steel in 2020-21, tallying four goals and 16 assists in 43 games and earning NAHL Midwest Division All-Rookie Team honors
Previously appeared in USHL with Fargo Force and Omaha Lancers
Played in 112 games with 89 points (25-64-89) for Culver prep hockey team from 2017-20
Served as team captain during senior year at Culver and earned academic all-state honors

Skated for Waterloo Black Hawks from 2018-21, playing a total of 50 games and compiling 11 points (7-4-11)
Served as team captain for Minnetonka High School during 2019-20 season
