
Miami Hockey Adds Two Signees

Head coach Chris Bergeron announced two additions to the Miami Hockey program today.
Bruno Bruveris and Raimonds Vitolins will join the RedHawks for the 2023-24 season. Bruveris is a goaltender from Riga, Latvia who currently plays for the USHL's Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. Vitolins is a forward with the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers from Ogre, Latvia.
"We would like to welcome Raimonds and Bruno to the Miami Hockey family. We are excited to have them as part of our program," said Bergeron.

- Played four games for Latvia in 2022 World Juniors, posting 2.95 GAA and .916 save percentage
- Voted a top-three player on Latvia's 2022 World Juniors team
- Posted a 15-12-3 record in net for Cedar Rapids in 2021-22 (3.02 GAA, .873 save percentage)
- Son of Ieva Bruvere and Gints Bruveris
- Has a March birthday

PRIOR TO MIAMI
- Currently plays for USHL's Green Bay Gamblers, with eight points (2-6-8) in 14 appearances this year
- Was an assistant captain on Latvia's World Juniors team this summer
- Voted a top-three player on Latvia's 2022 World Juniors team
- Spent 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons with University of Vermont, producing 12 points (3-9-12) in 43 career games
- Split 2019-20 season between HS Riga and USHL's Sioux Falls Stampede, putting up six goals in 15 USHL games
- Served as a team captain in 2019 and 2021
