OXFORD, Ohio-- The Miami University baseball team dropped a 12-7 decision to the Eastern Michigan Eagles Monday afternoon. The RedHawks drop to 12-19 (8-11 MAC), while the Eagles improve to 13-16 (9-7 MAC).

Cole Andrews and
Nick Neibauer provided the offense for the RedHawks, as each player drove in three runs with extra-base hits.
Aaron Massie tossed four innings out of the bullpen, striking out five batters.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the bottom of the second, trailing 4-0, Parker Lester led off with a ground-rule double. After advancing to third on a groundout, William Escala doubled to center, driving in Lester and putting the RedHawks on the board.
- In the bottom of the third, trailing 6-1, Blake Buzzeo led off with a walk. Following a single by Brian Zapp, Andrews belted a three-run shot to left-center field, cutting the Eagles' lead to two.
- In the bottom of the ninth, Nick Clark reached base on an error, before a JJ Woolwine single and Easton Good walk loaded the bases. Neibauer then doubled to left-center field, driving in all three RedHawks.

What's Next:
           The RedHawks travel to take on the Western Michigan Broncos in a four-game set this weekend. First pitch Friday, April 15 is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Kalamazoo, Mich.
