ABOUT XAVIER & THE SERIES WITH THE MUSKETEERS: Xavier enters the weekend with a 4-5 mark and is coming off a 3-1 loss to Cincinnati on Thursday evening. Miami owns an 18-3 record against the Musketeers in a series that dates back to 1975. The RedHawks have won the last two meetings, including a 3-1 win at Xavier on Aug. 29. 2017. Xavier's last win in the series was on Sept. 10, 2013 on its home court, 3-0.
ABOUT CINCINNATI & THE SERIES WITH THE BEARCATS: Cincinnati enters the weekend with a 4-3 record and is coming off a 3-1 win against Xavier on Thursday evening. The Bearcats lead the series 22-15, but Miami has won the last three matches against UC, including a 3-2 win in Oxford on Aug. 25, 2018. Miami also captured the last meeting in Cincinnati on Sept. 14, 2016, 3-0. UC's last win in the series was Nov. 26, 2011, 3-0.

Gaby Harper is closing in on becoming the 18th player in program history to reach 1,000 career digs. Harper also owns 818 career kills entering the weekend.

RIEMERSMA AND NOMANSON NAMED TO DUKE ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM: Senior
Sophie Riemersma and sophomore
Taylor Nomanson were named to the Duke Invitational All-Tournament Team. This was the second-straight all-tournament team honor for Riemersma and the first of her career for Nomanson.

- Sophomore Taylor Nomanson ranks third among MAC leaders in digs (4.60 per set), while the RedHawks rank third among MAC leaders in digs (15.97) as a team. Nomanson also ranks eighth among MAC leaders in service aces (0.32). She has served up seven this season.
- Freshman Lydia Harper saw the first action of her Miami career at the Duke Invitational two weekends ago. Harper and freshman Gracie Norris teamed-up at the setter position for the RedHawks in the last five matches.
- Senior Gaby Harper has played in 89 career matches and is poised to eclipse the 100-match mark in the last third of the season.
- Miami boasts seven newcomers on its 2021 roster, which comprises 41% of the Miami roster.
ECLIPSING 750 CAREER WINS: With a 3-0 win versus Buffalo on Jan. 22, 2021, Miami head coach
Carolyn Condit posted her 750th career win. Condit owns a 764-572 career record entering her 42nd season as a head coach. Condit's 764 total victories are tied for eighth among active NCAA Division I coaches, and tied for 24th all-time. Owning more victories than any coach in the history of the Miami Athletic Department, Condit holds a 665-494 record and is in her 38th season in charge of the Red and White. Condit is the only volleyball coach in the history of the Mid-American Conference to win over 300 league matches, holding a conference mark of 366-216.
